Each year Post 817 and the Ladies Auxiliary sponsors a children's Christmas Party at the Post Home
for local children which is open to the public. Special treats are provide for each child and no
Christmas party is complete without a visit from Santa himself. Also featured is Tom the Magician. A
special thanks to "Smoke" and Dorothy Brogden and their volunteers who head-up this annual event.
